Hayward LPers Take Polar Plunge
Hayward employees Bill Perlick and Scott Eytcheson made a big splash while raising money for Regional Hospice Services in Hayward, Wisconsin, in early 2008. Bill and his wife, Lauri, and Scott and his wife, Dawn, were among 100 brave souls who plunged into the icy waters of Lake Hayward as part of the Third Annual Polar Plunge, sponsored by LP for the last three years. The event raised more than $25,000 to help pay for hospice care in the community.
Having fun for a serious cause, Scott, the mill’s electrical supervisor, won best costume for his caveman attire.
