Clean Texas Recognition
At a ceremony conducted May 2, 2007, the Carthage, Texas, OSB facility was awarded platinum status by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality through their Clean Texas Program. LP Carthage was one of twelve companies to be awarded this highest achievement, which also included General Motors, 3M, Motorola and other high performing companies. The Clean Texas Program is similar to the EPA’s Performance Track program in that it recognizes facilities for their commitment to environmental programs.
